LEGO The Legend of Zelda rumour doesn't limit Deku Tree's appeal

A LEGO The Legend of Zelda set rumoured for 2026 doesn't diminish the appeal of 77092 Great Deku Tree 2-in-1, thanks to its main function.

One of the most recent LEGO 2026 rumours concerned the future of LEGO The Legend of Zelda, stating that 77093 Ocarina of Time Ganondorf Diorama is coming on March 1, 2026, likely based on the titular game in the franchise. This would be a repeat of the game that is represented in 77092 Great Deku Tree 2-in-1, potentially forecasting the return of several exclusive elements used for the first Ocarina of Time minifigures.

The likes of the Master Sword, Hylian Shield and Link's hairpiece with the green hat are used prominently in the Ganondorf scenes in Ocarina of Time. Thankfully, any possibility of them debuting outside of 77092 Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 won't completely diminish the appeal of the first LEGO The Legend of Zelda set.

The 2-in-1 nature of 77092 Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 consequently means that Ocarina of Time is just one of the games represented in the set. The other is the more recent Breath of the Wild, which is depicted in the build and with elements exclusive to the title. These include a trio of Korok leaf masks, a Sheikah Slate tile, the Traveller's Shield, as well as the Link and Zelda minifigures in their blue outfits.

These parts are unlikely to appear in the rumoured 2026 set, since it is stated to be based on Ocarina of Time. This should leave 77092 Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 with some exclusive content for collectors to consider picking up. This rumour might inspire you to leave 77092 Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 in its Breath of the Wild form, too, since Ocarina of Time is said to be represented in the second LEGO The Legend of Zelda set.

While we wait to see whether the rumour of 77093 Ocarina of Time Ganondorf Diorama is accurate, 77092 Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 is available now for £259.99 / $299.99 / €299.99. Click here to see which scenes from Ocarina of Time might inspire the rumoured diorama.
