LEGO NINJAGO's first 15th-anniversary reveal posits show-accurate remakes, opening the gates for several more tributes and remakes.
At this point, the 2026 set is only a remake of the 2011 release in the sense that they're both based on the same location. The new launch makes it clear that the 15th anniversary is a time to look at these older models and improve upon them with a much higher level of detail and accuracy.
We've got a few more sets in mind that need a remake next year, as well as locations that have never been properly depicted in the theme's history. Note that this is only speculation based on the first set to be revealed.
The Fire Temple
The Fire Temple is a key location in the LEGO NINJAGO pilot, the first instalment of the series, holding one of the four golden weapons and guarded by a fierce dragon. That's two of LEGO NINJAGO's current-day core concepts, and while 2507 Fire Temple isn't quite as inaccurate as 2508 Blacksmith is compared to the series, it's still worthy of a remake to better match the show and would fit well in the current era of NINJAGO.
Spinners and trading cards

LEGO NINJAGO has continued to dip its toes into spinners and similar concepts every once in a while, and we can only hope that there are plans to return to them again next year for the 15th anniversary. A simple brick-built promotional item replicating the design of the original spinners, ideally with a trading card remake, would be ideal and not too hard to achieve.
2505 Garmadon's Dark Fortress
Villain vehicles and playsets have become more uncommon in NINJAGO, but this wasn't always the case. The theme's first sets had a good dose of skeletal models, including the intimidating 2505 Garmadon's Dark Fortress. The original set is already very accurate to the front of the towering fortress, and a remake would allow the LEGO NINJAGO team to upgrade it with more details, though Samukai would present a challenge now that his unique head element has long since been retired.
Borg Tower
As much as 71799 NINJAGO City Markets attempted to cater to fans with a tower housing a Borg shop and the character's office, the actual Borg Tower, as seen in the series, has yet to receive a NINJAGO model. The 15th anniversary would be a great time to finally grant us an accurate model based on the skyscraper, though it would be a big and major release.
9448 Samurai Mech
Mechs are another big part of NINJAGO's history and remain popular in the theme to this day. For the theme's anniversary next year, a remake of 9448 Samurai X Mech would be ideal. Though the original set was accurate to the series, the mech's 2019 set remake was much smaller than the original build, and a second attempt at this detailed model would be worthwhile for the 15th anniversary.
Jamanakai Village
Tying in with the new Elemental Alliance minifigure (a theme that will seemingly continue some of the other six anniversary minifigures), our first LEGO NINJAGO Jamanakai Village would work well for the 2026 anniversary. The village is a central location in the Strike of the Serpentine comic, coming next year, and is important to NINJAGO's fictional and non-fictional history. The only explicit reference to the village so far has been a single minifigure in the original NINJAGO City set.
