This year’s new LEGOLAND exclusive set is now available to order in the US, bringing us the first official images of the castle-themed set.
40952 LEGOLAND Castle is available exclusively at physical LEGOLAND parks or through the US LEGOLAND online storefront, where it retails for $54.99. The 613-piece set was first unveiled by MiniSuperHeroesToday’s in-hand review back in January, but the product listing at LEGOLAND New York Resort’s store is the first time we’ve seen official images of the packaging and what’s in the box.
And what’s in the box is pretty cool for LEGO Castle and LEGOLAND collectors alike. Alongside a recreation of the castle seen throughout LEGOLAND parks worldwide (which means plenty of useful pieces for castle builders), the model includes two minifigures with a bunch of castle-themed accessories – among which are a Horse Knights’ shield, a helmet, frog, wizard’s cap and wand.
It’ll presumably be available to buy at other LEGOLAND online stores around the world, such as the UK and Germany, once their respective storefronts reopen. According to Brickset, 40952 LEGOLAND Castle will retail for £47.99 in the UK and from €54.99 in Europe. It’s therefore a step up in size (and price tag) from recent LEGOLAND exclusives, including 40810 LEGOLAND Park Portal and 40710 Pirate Splash Battle.
