New LEGO Jurassic World set builds revealed

Even more new LEGO Jurassic World sets have been teased on Instagram this week, including a brick-built Spinosaurus figure.

The spheres of LEGO Jurassic World and Instagram continue to mix, as the LEGO Group has shared more models after unveiling a Jeep and teasing a Triceratops skeleton earlier this week. The LEGO Group's Instagram story has been updated with builds of vehicles and dinosaurs that would be right at home in official sets, and match the names of some rumoured models.

The first of the three slides covers a helicopter in the style of 4+ sets, with a small structure in the back. There are minifigures of Owen Grady and Kayla Watts alongside a blue Velociraptor, a baby Pteranodon and another small dinosaur. One of the LEGO Jurassic World sets rumoured for later this year is 77977 Baby Dinosaur: Pteranodon.

The second slide features a young T. Rex figure chasing a quad bike driven by one minifigure, while another drives a truck with a transport for the dinosaur in the back. Another of the LEGO Jurassic World sets rumoured for 2026 is 77978 Young T. rex Transport Truck.

The last of the three slides is by far the most exciting, featuring a couple of minifigures on the bottom and a brick-built Spinosaurus on the top. In the background, a small piece of scenery can be spotted with the LEGO Jurassic Park logo, the kind of decoration you would typically see on a diorama.

77982 Spinosaurus Dinosaur Escape is another LEGO Jurassic World set rumoured for 2026. The last LEGO Spinosaurus figure we saw was a moulded version in 76976 Spinosaurus & Quetzalcoatlus Air Mission, of which this build does not reuse.

The LEGO Group's foray into brick-built dinosaur figures in the modern era has only included 76974 Brick-Built Mosasaurus Boat Mission so far, but they appear to have a second Spinosaurus-shaped entry planned for a future set.

We don't yet know whether these builds and minifigures shown on Instagram will be released in official sets, but stay tuned as we learn more about LEGO Jurassic World's plans for 2026. Here's everything rumoured and confirmed for the theme this year, so far.
