It shouldn't be too hard to make a LEGO Luigi Death Stare meme

Luigi has become synonymous with a specific meme, and it seemingly won't be too hard to recreate it in LEGO thanks to the two Mario Kart sets.

So long as you have both LEGO Mario Kart 72037 Mario & Standard Kart and 72050 Luigi & Mach 8 (which will admittedly set you back just over £300), you should be able to recreate the Luigi Death Star meme. For those not in the know, the meme came about when clips were pulled from Mario Kart 8 of Luigi sniping other drivers with weapons and then cruising past with a fierce frown on his face.

The clips were dubbed over with Chamillionaire's Ridin' and quickly went viral, like the example embedded below.

While Luigi's official face in 72050 Luigi & Mach 8 isn't as Death Stare-like as the meme, there is a quick fix. Mario's eyes from 72037 Mario & Standard Kart have more turned-down eyebrows that suit the glare perfectly, and then all you need to do is flip the mouth upside down – and you've got the perfect frown.

We don't have a copy of 72050 Luigi & Mach 8 to try this out physically just yet, but we've mocked up what it could look like below (if you'll forgive our slightly dodgy editing skills). It gives a fair approximation of what this could look like, and you'd just need to display the set adjacent to 72037 Mario & Standard Kart to recreate a snapshot of Luigi sabotaging his brother on the track.
