There are still major Simpsons characters we need as LEGO minifigures

LEGO Icons 10352 The Simpsons: Krusty Burger brings three new characters to the world of minifigures, but there are still plenty more to introduce.

Officer Lou, Squeaky-Voiced Teen and Sideshow Bob all make their minifigure debut in 10352 The Simpsons: Krusty Burger when it comes out on June 1. However, The Simpsons has been running 36 seasons, so there are obviously dozens more characters that fans would still love to see.

We've cherry-picked a few that are high on our list below, but be sure to let us know who you want to see down in the comments below.

Officer Eddie

Officer Eddie in The Simpsons

It seems unfair that we now have Officer Lou without his trusty colleague, Officer Eddie. We already got Chief Wiggum in 71016 Kwik-E-Mart all the way back in 2015, so Eddie is the last we need to round out the crime-fighting trio keeping Springfield safe (as best they can, anyway).

Principal Skinner

Principal Skinner

Springfield Elementary is high on people's lists for what Simpsons location should be rendered in LEGO form next. If we ever do get it, Principal Skinner will have to make an appearance at last. The grumpy headtacher has a lot of stellar moments in the show and would be relatively easy to render as a minifigure, having pretty typical human proportions when compared to some other Simpsons characters.

Moe Szyslak

Moe The Simpsons 1024x512

Moe feels like he'd be tricky to get, considering we're unlikely to ever get his tavern, due to the LEGO Group's rules around presenting alcohol. Still, he's a staple from many iconic scenes from the show, so perhaps he can show up somewhere. After all, Officer Lou isn't necessarily a staple of Krusty Burger, yet still appears in 10352.

The Simpsons CMF Series 3

Let's face it, there are enough characters in The Simpsons to warrant a third Collectible Minifigures series. Kicking off with Homer's two drinking buddies, Lenny and Carl, there are two others that feel unlikely to get, with their obvious location being in Moe's Tavern. A CMF series would be an easy way to sidestep the issue, while still giving us two show regulars.

Chalmers has less screentime than Skinner but still plays a key role in several plots. The same can be said for Fat Tony, the face of Springfield's shady underbelly. On the lighter side of the town, Mayor Quimby and news anchor Kent Brockman are typically on the scene for any major goings-on in the animated show.

Jebediah Springfield is a slightly more off the wall choice, but seeing as we'd be getting into our third series, it's time for some weirder picks. The believed founder of Springfield, he certainly makes for a striking figure.

Another Moe's regular, Barney Gumble would be fun to see made into a minifigure, if only because he'd surely have to come with a glass full of Duff beer (or unspecified soda, to keep the LEGO Group rules department happy). Cheesy lawyer Lionel Hutz is another common Springfield resident to pop up at anytime, complete with his sleeked back hairstyle.

Arguably, the LEGO Group has already hit this area with 71048 Series 27's Cat Lover, but Springfield's Crazy Cat Lady has a certain je n'est ce quoi – as well as more cats worn as accessories.

Last but certainly not least, Reverend Lovejoy takes care of Springfield's religious souls, while Dr Nick Riviera takes care off their physical bodies. We can't let our Simpsons minifigure go untended, so they've got to go onto this list, white outfits and all.
