LEGO Harry Potter's current Hogwarts Castle may be more complete than ever, but there's a big problem with where to place one specific module without it looking wrong.
LEGO fans worldwide can now connect 76473 Hogwarts Castle: East Wing to the rest of the current LEGO Hogwarts Castle at minifigure scale. While this new set connects seamlessly and adds a major component to the Hogwarts skyline, it has unintentionally shone the spotlight on a few lacklustre areas of the combined model.
Ashnflash shares more details in his video detailing how to mix the various models together. In it, he discovers that 76463 Hogwarts Castle: Hospital Wing isn't as easy to physically connect to the build, and is confused about where it should go.
The instructions for the new 76473 Hogwarts Castle: East Wing and the original set both indicate that it should be placed to the right of 76454 Hogwarts Castle: The Main Tower.

However, there is nothing to connect the two modules together, and it leaves a walkway ending abruptly with no way for the students to get across. That is, unless they have a broomstick to hand.
Ashnflash demonstrates these issues in the video, trialling multiple different positions for the set aside from its intended spot. There's simply nowhere it can connect to; instead standing disconnected and loose when compared to nearly every other module.

Trying to find where the model should go leaves us with an unfortunate conclusion – it's in the correct spot already. Comparing the current LEGO Hogwarts Castle to a 3D scan of the model at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, shared by Mosyan, we can see the dormer windows represented by slopes in 76463 Hogwarts Castle: Hospital Wing to the right of the huge main tower.

It's in precisely the same spot in the combined physical LEGO model, but without any proper place for it to connect to. This is the crux of the issue with the current iteration of LEGO Hogwarts Castle. The set is where it should be, but stands alone and disconnected despite that fact.
The next best solution is to add some clips to 76454 Hogwarts Castle: The Main Tower and connectors to 76463 Hogwarts Castle: Hospital Wing, but the lack of a built-in fix is disappointing.
The current era of LEGO Hogwarts Castle combines multiple sets into one massive build, and we've listed everything in the collection below. It leaves little left for the LEGO Group to cover before inevitably rebooting the range again.
