Two more LEGO Formula 1 helmets rumoured for June 2026

A brace of LEGO Formula 1 helmets are rumoured to be arriving on shelves in June, joining the pair already on the way next month.

According to BrickTap, the previously-rumoured 43017 Oscar Piastri Helmet is now believed to be launching in June alongside 43023 Lando Norris Helmet, bringing both of the current McLaren Formula 1 drivers to the line-up. That chimes with the release strategy for the first two F1 helmets, which focus on Ferrari drivers Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc.

Both of the McLaren helmets are said to include exactly 793 pieces, which suggests most of the cosmetic differences will be communicated via prints or stickers rather than structural or brick-built detailing. That would again tally with their Ferrari equivalents, which also include almost exactly the same number of pieces – 884 and 886 – but the designs of Norris and Piastri’s helmets are a little more flamboyant.

It’ll also be interesting to see if Norris’s helmet features the official Monster branding, as the LEGO Speed Champions team excised it from 77262 Ken Block's '65 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn V1 (pictured above) – although given 43023 Lando Norris Helmet is likely to be an 18+ set it may just make the cut. The LEGO Group retained the Red Bull branding for last year’s 77243 Oracle Red Bull Racing RB20 F1 Race Car, and simply changed the age rating to 18+.

Both McLaren helmets are said to retail for $89.99 apiece, in line with their Ferrari equivalents. These may also be the final two LEGO Formula 1 helmets for 2026, as Brick Clicker reports that previous hints of sets for Max Verstappen and Fernando Alonso were false. That’s a keen reminder to take even these rumoured McLaren helmets with a grain of salt until we get official confirmation from the LEGO Group.

In the meantime, 43014 Scuderia Ferrari HP Charles Leclerc Helmet and 43022 Scuderia Ferrari HP Lewis Hamilton Helmet will be available to purchase from May 1 for £79.99 / $89.99 / €89.99 each.
