Fan vote for Dungeons and Dragons LEGO Building Instructions Cover now open

Three designs have made it to the final vote for the cover of the LEGO Ideas project Dragon’s Keep: Journey’s End, and voting will be open for just one week.

The original LEGO Ideas project by BoltBuilds was the winning entry for the LEGO Ideas challenge that celebrated 50 years of Dungeons and Dragons. The project, which is made up of just under 3000 pieces, was chosen by the LEGO Group and will soon become an official LEGO set endorsed by both the LEGO Group and Wizards of the Coast.

The competition, which was to allow one talented fan to create the art for the building instructions for the set, had an idea intake from April 4 to May 2. After narrowing it down, three colourful designs remain, and anyone from LEGO fans to Dungeons and Dragons fans (or a combination of the two) can pick a design.

As the competition requirements stated, the designs aimed to "show off the best of Dungeons and Dragons" with anything from "worlds, characters, battles or anything else you feel represents 50 years of this game".

The three designs all (as you'd hope to see) heavily feature dragons in the artwork, with bold colours and clever allusions to the game, such as the various fantasy characters shown and the D20’s in the art. Any one of the three entries would make an incredible cover for the building instructions of Dragon’s Keep: Journey’s End.

The fan vote will only be open for seven days, running from May 10 to May 17, so make sure to remember to get your vote in before then. You can cast your vote by clicking the link here.
