LEGO gift cards are an excellent choice if you know you want to give someone a LEGO set for a present, but aren't sure which one. LEGO fans can be picky and, especially with ever-growing collections, you might end up doubling up on sets if you go rogue. LEGO gift cards mean the choice of set stays with the recipient and can be redeemed online, over the phone, or in-store.

When buying gift cards directly from the LEGO Group, you can order them online or head down to a physical store. The minimum amount is £10 / $10 / €10 and you can add any amount in £5 / $5 / €5 increments up to a maximum of £500 / $500 / €500, which should be enough to cover the vast majority of LEGO sets currently on the market in one fell swoop.

Once bought, you can spend LEGO gift cards at any LEGO stores in the country you bought it in, although not in any LEGOLAND parks or LEGOLAND Discovery Centres, or any third-party retailers. It's worth noting that LEGO Insiders points are not collected when you buy a LEGO gift card but will be earned on any purchases made with LEGO gift cards, just as if you were paying with money.

You can also stack LEGO gift cards if you're lucky enough to have multiple at once, with the option to use up to three LEGO gift cards on a single order from the LEGO Group. To do so, simply select 'Gift Card' as the payment method when checking out online and then enter the Gift Card number and PIN code in the appropriate fields. In person, you just need to show it to your cashier at checkout or tell the LEGO employee you're talking to if buying over the phone.

In fact, you can often find deals and discounts when you shop around at retailers like John Lewis, Walmart, GAME, and so on.
