LEGO Disney's next wave of new sets is days away, including a major new WALL-E model that deserves your attention, in case you've overlooked it.
LEGO43279 WALL-E and EVE was revealed nearly one month ago, going up for pre-order soon after, ahead of a September 1, 2025 launch. This is one of only a few LEGO models based on the 2008 Disney and Pixar movie, but it's arguably the best yet and one that you should care about.
With the recent batch of reveals, including many LEGO Ideas sets, a new LEGO Batman game and 10365 Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Ship, you might have overlooked 43279 WALL-E and EVE before its release date on Monday, and we're here to remind you of why this model deserves your attention.
43279 WALL-E and EVE is the third LEGO set based on the 2008 movie, following up on the first – 21303 WALL-E from 2015. 10 years later, and a comparable build is hitting shelves, but with a downsized WALL-E. The 2025 build is bigger in some ways, though, and you can find out more by clicking here. The new set comes with the addition of EVE, who has only otherwise been depicted as a BrickHeadz figure, as well as the debut of a LEGO M-O.
Compared to 40619 EVE & WALL•E, EVE's new figure is much more accurate to the robotic character, with plenty of curved elements used to accentuate her smooth shaping more than the BrickHeadz was able to.
That BrickHeadz set was still a good recreation of the robotic duo, even including the boot. The WALL-E reference in 43221 100 Years of Disney Animation Icons similarly includes an homage to the plant, but there are a couple of details in 43279 WALL-E and EVE that are more uncommon.
While M-O is making his debut in 43279 WALL-E and EVE, Hal the cockroach has had a major makeover since his appearance in 21303 WALL-E. The iconic insect now has both antennae, making 43279 WALL-E and EVE by far the most complete LEGO WALL-E set so far.
Another important aspect of 43279 WALL-E and EVE is its functionality compared to previous LEGO WALL-E models. Early reviews have confirmed that not only does the new model feature absolutely no stickers for a refreshing build experience, but also that WALL-E's arms can now move up and down accurately, not just forward and back as we saw in the 2015 LEGO Ideas model.
Whatever you are looking forward to picking up next month, there's no doubt that 43279 WALL-E and EVE is an enticing creation for Disney and Pixar enthusiasts. It's launching on September 1 for £59.99 / $69.99 / €69.99, and pre-orders are open now.
