LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy: Pieces of the Past is nearly upon us, so here's everything you need to know before it starts streaming.
The second season of Rebuild the Galaxy is gearing up to take more risks, include more chaotic deep cuts and lore references, and a whole new baddie for the gang to unite against. The first season debuted to great success, managing to both surprise and delight LEGO and Star Wars fans alike.
Blending the two fandoms allows for Star Wars characters to do things you never imagined they could. Luke only wants a quiet life on the beach, while Jar Jar Binks is living out his evil villain dreams. Jedi Bob has grown beyond being an anonymous minifigure to become a central figure. Where else can Rebuild the Galaxy take the characters we know and love?
We've broken down everything we know about the upcoming season, so you can hit the ground running when four new episodes drop on Disney+.
Rebuild the Galaxy season 2 release date

Pieces of the Past will stream in full on Disney+ from September 19. The four-episode season will drop in its entirety on the streaming platform, only available to those who subscribe to Disney's own service.
Rebuild the Galaxy: Pieces of the Past LEGO sets

Where season 1 of Rebuild the Galaxy got three sets, only one has been revealed and released so far for Pieces of the Past. 75414 The Force Burner Snowspeeder can be seen briefly in the trailer, and is already available to buy for £44.99 / $54.99 / €49.99 for 349 pieces. It includes minifigures of main characters Sig and Dev Greebling, along with the new Big Bad of the new season, Solitus.
Where Rebuild the Galaxy season 1 left off

Season 1 of Rebuild the Galaxy saw main character and nerf herder Sig Greebling, voiced by Stranger Things' Gaten Matarazzo, get thrust into a LEGO-fied world of blended Star Wars realities. Sig pushed the world into chaos when he accidentally removed the Cornerstone from an ancient Jedi temple, causing a chaotic mix-up of the Star Wars galaxy.
Characters, species, and even good and evil are swapped, with Rey and Jar Jar suddenly on the evil side, while Vader and Palpatine are forces for good. Sig must team up with the forgotten Jedi Bob to find a way to restore the galaxy, pitting him against his own brother, who has become the villainous Darth Dev.
Uniting familiar Star Wars characters we know and love, the group managed to overcome Dev and return the Cornerstone. However, Dev escaped and Rey and her group are still hunting Sig as he continues his training.
What to expect from LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy: Pieces of the Past

From what we know so far from interviews with the cast and the trailer for the animated show, Sig and Dev will reunite in season 2. They need to team up to take on Solitus, a new Big Bad for the show.
While at first it seemed that Solitus might be a new Sith Master for Dev, the trailer suggests that Dev will part ways with him, needing to help Sig make sure the Sith Lord can't open up a rift that threatens to rip the galaxy apart.
That's all we know about the plot of the next Rebuild the Galaxy instalment, but you don't need to wait long to find out what will happen, with Pieces of the Past streaming from September 19.
