Nine August 2025 LEGO sets under £30 worth considering

With a huge number of new LEGO sets having launched on August 1, 2025, here are our top choices for models worth picking up priced under £10, £20 and £30.

Many LEGO shoppers may still be reeling from the massive onslaught of new builds that dropped on August 1, 2025. With over 100 models having launched worldwide on that date, deciding how best to spend your brick-buying budget may prove to be a little tricky.

While some will no doubt immediately go for fan-favourite sets, potentially at a much higher price, there are still plenty of must-have affordable purchases worth picking up this month. With that in mind, here are our selections for LEGO sets that are worth considering buying over the weeks to come, with one eye on those with a strictly limited amount of cash.

LEGO sets under £10

The LEGO One Piece theme finally arrived on August 1, giving fans of the live-action Netflix show the chance to pick up a total of seven (mostly) impressive models. Of those, only 40799 Monkey D. Luffy and 40800 Buggy the Clown come in at £9.99 each, but the LEGO BrickHeadz sets still represent a great entry point for starting your own brick-built Straw Hat Pirates collection.

Another pocket money-priced model that debuted this month was 60455 Police Motorcycle Chase. The 65-piece LEGO City release offers plenty of playability for younger builders and comes with the two-wheeled vehicle, a cash machine, a pair of minifigures and multiple accessories all for £8.99.

LEGO sets under £20

The most affordable LEGO Animal Crossing set to date dropped mere days ago, with 77058 Goldie’s Cosy House priced at £17.99. The 149-piece model adds a new location to the Nintendo video game theme, including the first-ever Goldie the Dog minifigure.

Also coming in under £20 this month is 31173 Tropical Toucan, yet another impressive LEGO Creator 3-in-1 set and one that offers up the option to assemble alternate butterfly and fish builds for a wallet-friendly £12.99.

A special nod also has to go out to 72045 Shy Guy & P-Wing, a new 249-piece LEGO Super Mario model that represents one way of expanding your brick-built Mario Kart racing line-up for just £17.99, without breaking the bank.

LEGO sets under £30

Those who can stretch their budgets just that little bit further will open up a number of brand-new LEGO sets straddling a variety of themes. First up is 72041 Party at Toad’s House, with 276 pieces for £24.99, including two brick-built figures.

A larger LEGO One Piece model can also be yours for £24.99, with 75636 Windmill Village Hut boasting 299 pieces. The set comes with a detailed hut build, pirate boat, three minifigures and a random Wanted poster to collect.

Rounding out our top picks for LEGO sets under £30 is 77237 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. The most-affordable LEGO Technic model included in this month’s new release, the LEGO Speed Champions muscle car features an eye-catching green colour scheme, bulging hood scoop, dual tailpipes and a driver minifigure, all for only £22.99.
