Amazon's Black Friday sale is live early, including a variety of retiring LEGO deals on sets leaving shelves at the end of 2025, if not sooner.
Following the release of Wicked: For Good last week, the 36% saving on 75681 Glinda, Elphaba & Nessarose at Shiz University is greater than that of the official online store. For only £16.10, you're getting three mini-dolls based on iconic characters from the film and some great parts to use in other builds. Wicked enthusiasts on a budget won't find a better deal.
LEGO DREAMZzz has a similarly colourful creation that has been deeply discounted on Amazon's Black Friday sale. 71491 Mateo and the Z-Blob Action Race Car is one of the most whimsical models in the theme, as you can tell by the transparent green tyres. This build has been reduced from £44.99 to £27.99, and with the pieces and minifigures alone, it's a worthwhile purchase to catch up on LEGO DREAMZzz's unique aesthetic
LEGO Super Mario's retired Donkey Kong range can still partially be yours. The biggest set in the collection, 71425 Diddy Kong's Mine Cart Ride, is down by 40% at the UK retailer, including Funky Kong's exclusive figures and a wide assortment of modules to make a cart-centric course. It's currently going for £56.60 instead of £94.99.
Don't overlook LEGO City's space range, including one of the theme's biggest sets retiring in 2025. 60434 Space Base and Rocket Launchpad has 1,422 pieces, including six minifigures, a rocket and a full base to explore the surface of an alien world. LEGO City's recent space range may be blasting off this year, but don't let these innovative models leave your orbit completely.
Switching to the ever-popular LEGO Star Wars, a trio of retiring sets on sale have caught our eye, including 75378 BARC Speeder Escape. This small Star Wars build has been reduced to £15.90 from £24.99, including an exclusive minifigure of Kelleran Beq that makes this model worthy of being in your collection at the reduced price.
Similarly discounted is 75376 Tantive IV, depicting the first ship ever seen on screen in the franchise. This Starship Collection set is iconic and has been designed to celebrate 25 years of LEGO Star Wars, including a printed element accordingly. The set has been dropped to £44.99 from £69.99, making this an affordable addition to your home or a great gift for a Star Wars fan.
Rounding out the retiring LEGO Star Wars set deals at Amazon UK is the 32% sale on 75374 The Onyx Cinder. This Skeleton Crew creation received high praise in our thorough review, and at £50 off, this astounding ship model is worth your time and money before it retires.
