Free LEGO City Soap Box Racer instructions shared online

Those not able to pick up the free LEGO City Soap Box Racer model this weekend can still pursue the build with the instructions now shared online.

This weekend at LEGO stores in the UK and Ireland, you can pick up a free burger soap box racer model with parts currently exclusive to new LEGO City sets. With only one day of the opportunity remaining for fans in the UK and Ireland, you might not have the chance to attend or find that stock has run out at your local store.

Thankfully, the same build was already offered in the US and Canada last week and musix345 on Reddit has shared the instructions and parts list for the model for everyone to follow at home.

Since it's not a huge build being given away for free, neither is very long but finding three of the pieces won't be easy on BrickLink or Pick a Brick. The soap box chassis and wheels are brand new and currently exclusive to three sets. The minifigure's torso is also currently exclusive to 60460 No Limits: Race Car Ramp Track.

Provided you don't mind modifying the minifigure, you can find the chassis and wheels in 60458 Pizza vs. Fire Truck Race Car Pack and 60459 Airplane vs. Hospital Bed Race Car Pack for £8.99 / $9.99 / €9.99 each.

Unfortunately, you'll still need to pay for at least some of the pieces should you miss out on the free event, but there's one more day to take part in case you want to try your luck at your local LEGO store.

Whatever you decide, the burger soap box racer will pair perfectly with the hot dog vehicle in 60460 No Limits: Race Car Ramp Track, which is available now as part of the LEGO City 2025 selection.
