A new LEGO Maersk set was recently revealed, but its current lifespan is scheduled to be the shortest of any other Maersk model.
LEGO 40955 Maersk Dual-Fuel Container Vessel will be available for buy from March 1, retailing at £139.99 / $149.99 / €149.99. As part of our latest update to our dedicated retiring set page, we discovered that the new build will only have nine months on shelves. It's currently scheduled to retire on December 31, 2026.

That date is subject to change over the next 12 months, but short shelf lives are more common than you might think for LEGO Maersk sets. Most LEGO models across any theme spend between two and three years on shelves, with a few exceptions. LEGO Maersk builds, on the other hand, spend around a year on shelves.
The more recent LEGO Maersk sets – the retirement dates of which have been tracked – have spent at most 1 year and nine months on shelves and at least 11 months available. 10155 Maersk Line Container Ship had a shelf life of 11 months. 10219 Maersk Train spent a lengthy year and nine months on the shelves. 10241 Maersk Line Triple-E had a full year of shelf life.
40955 Maersk Dual-Fuel Container Vessel will be available from March 1 for £139.99 / $149.99 / €149.99.
