A mini-build competition based on the five LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 6 finalists’ models has kicked off this week.
The LEGO BrickLink Designer Program revealed its Series 6 finalists late last year, with a total of five sets currently being refined before pre-production begins. Those looking to get their hands on The Art Factory, Off-road Adventure, Gold Mine Expedition, Sequoia Tree Trail and Outlaw Forest Den will be able to do so sometime in October 2025, when crowdfunding for the models goes live.
In advance of that date, the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program has kicked off a new mini-build contest this week, challenging fans to make their own tiny versions of the Series 6 sets listed above.
Fan builders have until 12pm PST on September 19 to get their diminutive LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 6 models completed and submitted online, with a handful of miniaturised creations already available to check out.
The contest rules state that the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 6 Mini-Builds can range from 10 to 300 pieces in total and must have two dimensions (length x width x height) that should be eight studs/bricks or less, with slight overhangs permitted.
The winners of the latest LEGO BrickLink Designer Program contest will be announced on October 3, 2025, with all participating models getting to display a LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 6 Mini-Build badge. Five lucky submitters will each receive a copy of the LEGO BDP Series 6 set that their creation is based on, with the final models due to ship in March 2026.
