A smaller and more affordable to its retired predecessor, LEGO Harry Potter 76466 Philosopher’s Stone Collectors’ Edition has been revealed.
Filling the gap left behind by 76391 Hogwarts Icons Collectors' Edition after it retired at the end of last year, 76466 Philosopher’s Stone Collectors’ Edition follows a similar blueprint but on a smaller footprint. Made up of 1,571 pieces, the LEGO Harry Potter set is priced at £139.99 in the UK, $169.99 in the US, and from €159.99 in Europe.
Much like its predecessor, it centres around a brick-built Hedwig (making her debut with closed wings for the first time), with various other buildable trappings from the Wizarding World. That includes a Chocolate Frog card, a wizard chessboard, and Harry's trunk.
Inside the trunk, various microscale versions of classic Potter scenes from the first movie are hidden, including the troll in the bathroom, Harry's trials to reach the Philosopher's Stone and the Hogwarts Express. There are also minifigures of young Harry, Ron, and Hermione included.
There are also some play features included in 76466 Philosopher’s Stone Collectors’ Edition, operated using dials on the side of the set. They allow you to turn Hedwig’s head, move the Queen on the Wizard Chessboard, and blow the side off Harry Potter’s trunk to reveal the mountain troll’s bathroom attack scene.
76466 Philosopher’s Stone Collectors’ Edition will launch on January 1, 2026, retailing for £139.99 in the UK, $169.99 in the US, and from €159.99 in Europe.
