More LEGO Harry Potter Back to Hogwarts details confirmed

Additional details regarding this year’s LEGO Harry Potter Back to Hogwarts event have emerged, including a unique make and take model.

Excited Muggles will soon be able to participate in this year’s Back to Hogwarts day, with a variety of planned events taking place across the globe. The LEGO Harry Potter theme will also be getting involved in the annual magical celebrations, with a new dedicated landing page on LEGO.com confirming that the promotional period will be running from September 1 to September 7, 2025.

The LEGO Back to Hogwarts page states that ‘special offers and more’ will be arriving next week, although there are no additional details regarding exactly what those might be. There’s also mention of special LEGO Insiders rewards and an image of what appears to be a wipeable LEGO Harry Potter board game, but we’ll know more for sure once the event kicks off in a few days’ time.

As well as 40791 The Goblet of Fire Figures, 40802 Luna Lovegood & Thestral Figures, 76456 Advent Calendar and 76457 Hogsmeade Village Collectors’ Edition, LEGO Harry Potter fans will also be able to pick up a unique make and take model from participating LEGO Stores early next month.

Visitors to their local official retail locations in the UK can grab a free LEGO Harry Potter Butterbeer Truck from 10am to 12pm on September 6 and again on September 7 from 12pm to 2pm, with a limited number of the models available on those dates, while stocks last. European LEGO Stores will also be offering the make and take build, but you're best to check in advance for specific timings.

In the US and Canada, the LEGO Harry Potter Butterbeer Truck promotion will only be taking place at participating locations on September 7 from 12pm to 2pm, although the LEGO Stores at Garden State in Paramus, NJ and University Place in Orem, UT will be hosting the giveaway on September 6 from 12pm to 2pm.

In addition, Westfield Hamburg shopping centre will have giant LEGO Harry Potter figures on display from August 28 to September 1, while the Sainte-Geneviève Library in Paris will feature special LEGO Harry Potter displays from August 29 to August 30.

Already revealed for this year’s LEGO Back to Hogwarts event are a trio of free LEGO Harry Potter GWPs for Insiders members in the shape of 30706 Quidditch Lesson, 40770 Hogwarts Castle: Room of Requirement and 5009867 Hogsmeade Sign. The three magical promotional items will be available with specific spending thresholds from September 1 to 7, while stocks last.
