Second LEGO Ideas SpongeBob SquarePants design hits 10K

Yet another SpongeBob SquarePants fan design has made into the LEGO Ideas 10K club, the second such model to do so this week.

The second LEGO Ideas review of 2025 is positively bursting with amazing fan designs at the moment, with nearly 40 creative builds currently battling it out to become future physical sets. Earlier this week saw SpongeBob SquarePants: The Krusty Krab slide its way into the 10K club and it’s now joined by yet another model based on the iconic animated character.

SpongeBob SquarePants – 25th Anniversary is the work of Vaicko, with the designer having recently managed to qualify for the first LEGO Ideas review of 2025 with Pizza Planet Truck.

Boasting three separate houses, SpongeBob SquarePants – 25th Anniversary features SpongeBob’s pineapple under the sea, Squidward’s Easter Island head-shaped home and Patrick’s Rock.

All three cartoon locations include at least one room each and a selection of character-themed accessories, plus SpongeBob SquarePants – 25th Anniversary also comes with builds of the Patty Wagon and SpongeBob’s Bubble stand.

Rounding out the LEGO Ideas submission is a selection of five minifigures in the shape of SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick Star, Squidward Tentacles, Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, as well as brick-built versions of Gary and a jellyfish.

With two SpongeBob SquarePants fan designs currently sitting in the second LEGO Ideas review of 2025, it’s anyone’s guess as to whether either model will progress any further. For now, we’ll have to wait and see, with the results due to be announced later this year.
