The LEGO Group has revealed a striking collection of official Formula 1 accessories, ahead of the Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai this weekend.
With the Formula 1 2025 season now in full swing, all eyes are turning to Shanghai next, where the Chinese Grand Prix will take place from March 21 to March 23. Ahead of the upcoming racing event, Hypebeast is reporting that the LEGO Group has revealed a surprise collection of six Formula 1-themed accessories arriving under the Build the Thrill banner and created in collaboration with AFOL (Adult Fan of LEGO), Lego Super Players.
Fans who want to celebrate Formula 1’s 75th anniversary in style this year can check out the Steering Wheel Phone Case, which is modelled after the life-size controls featured in real F1 cars. The steering wheel’s monitor space allows for a smartphone to be placed inside, but we suspect the various buttons may well be non-functional.
Also part of the collection is the Engine Block Headset V6, designed to match the look of 77248 BWT Alpine F1 Team A524 Race Car, and could be useful for video game driving sessions. For fans after something a little different, the Starting Light Goggles appear to include light bricks inside, which would certainly make them a novelty to wear.
The LEGO Formula 1 accessories collection also boasts a Lane Cap with brick-built Ferrari and minifigure against a striking racing backdrop, Technic Backpack which actually incorporates 42206 Oracle Red Bull Racing RB20 and a LEGO Speed Champions lta-bag for carrying 77251 McLaren F1 Team MCL38 Race Car, complete with interchangeable straps to match its livery.
There’s no word yet regarding whether the LEGO Formula 1 accessories collection will actually be available to purchase at some point or if they're just cool custom designs, but we’ll update you as soon as we have more information.
