The LEGO Ideas community is helping to give Mr. Bean yet another chance at an official set, based on one of the character's most iconic scenes.
Mr. Bean has had quite a few chances to find success on LEGO Ideas, including being part of the second half of the ’90s IP challenge, in which fans would decide which submission would become a set. This theoretically means that the LEGO Group had to approve each of the IPs for an official model, giving Mr. Bean a considerable thumbs-up.
Ultimately, Wallace & Gromit was the most-voted model, leaving Mr. Bean without a model for the time being. Despite this, the community continues to vote for LEGO Ideas projects based on the British comedy series.
The latest attempt is from teo10_05, depicting the moment where Mr. Bean drives his Mini Cooper from the roof. It has become a staple of the series and is precisely the scene that inspired the Mr. Bean build in the ’90s IP challenge.

For now, teo10_05's model is only in contention for a future LEGO Ideas set and sits alongside 23 other builds in the current review round.
