The LEGO Group's next up-scaled minifigure represents Classic Space, leaving plenty of ranges without such a model, including these seven.
What started with Harry Potter is about to continue with Classic Space, and non-theme ranges such as Seasonal have been represented, too. This sufficiently lays the ground rules for potential future up-scaled minifigure sets, and here are seven we'd love to see next.
Johnny Thunder

LEGO Adventurers' Johnny Thunder has been undergoing a comeback in recent years, thanks to LEGO City, known for his signature tan shirt, red neckerchief and moustache. These details are entirely possible to depict in an up-scaled minifigure, as SylvainLS has proven.
It would be great to see LEGO Adventurers represented in this iconic collection and continue the roster of classic themes depicted so far.
Knight

What seems like an inevitability given the popularity of the theme in the current day, a LEGO Castle Knight minifigure is our next suggestion. Plaatart has proposed such a concept on LEGO Ideas, adding additional detail to the original minifigure.
While this is an excellent depiction and proof of concept, the LEGO Group could lean into nostalgia and leave out those additional details. This would leave room in the budget to focus on the much-needed accessories such as the helmet, sword and shield. Ultimately, including all three of these accessories seems likely to raise the price compared to the standard up-scaled minifigures, but it may be worthwhile.
Imperial Soldier

LEGO Pirates has been represented in the up-scaled minifigure range thanks to 40504 A Minifigure tribute, but that set is exclusive to LEGO House in Billund. The LEGO Group could properly represent Pirates in the range more widely by depicting another minifigure from the theme to pair with the official set.
One counterpart to the giant Captain Redbeard is a giant Imperial Soldier minifigure, as created by eXcyle. This would include Pirates in the range for anyone not able to get to Billund, but without directly competing against 40504 A Minifigure Tribute.
Policeman

While you can argue that LEGO Town / City has been represented in the up-scaled range thanks to
A police officer based on the classic minifigure design would be our pick, as police have been a mainstay of the themes since their beginning. There could even be a miniature version of a classic set or a microscale city as the Easter egg in the head. Stork has already come up with such a design, using a windshield element for the hat.
Johnny Thunder

It's somewhat surprising to see the up-scaled minifigure collection not yet explored the concept of a giant minifigure skeleton. Such a build would pair well with LEGO Pirates, as well as Halloween. BulkyShelter4087 has figured out how to properly scale up the classic Skeleton design, of which only the arms have significantly changed.
The concept works well and would make a remarkable departure from the usual up-scaled minifigure design. Up-scaled minifigure sets haven't been so experimental thus far, but we can only hope for such a model one day.
Statue of Liberty
With the retirement of
Fans making city displays have already been 3D-printing up-scaled versions of the Statue of Liberty minifigure for years, taking centre stage in city displays. An up-scaled minifigure version of the statue would feature the LEGO personality of the smaller minifigure, but without the need for exclusive elements. This would be another serious departure from the usual up-scaled minifigures, thanks to the lack of bending legs.
Darth Vader

A recreation of the classic 1999 Darth Vader minifigure is our last suggestion for a future up-scaled minifigure. LEGO Star Wars has been much more experimental with its 18+ creations in recent years, including
Darth Vader remains one of the most iconic characters in the franchise, and his classic minifigure design from 1999 is recognisable, but goes well with the other classic designs in the collection. It would also require fewer printed or stickered pieces. This concept isn't new, with many online putting 75304 Darth Vader Helmet on top of a scaled minifigure body before the set was retired.
