There's going to be two LEGO Crocs sets, not just one

A second LEGO Crocs set has been discovered following the reveal of 5010203 Brick Clog, suggesting different versions of the unique shoe.

The LEGO Product Certification page has revealed not only the 40972 recruitment bag, in partnership with Crocs, but also 40973. This green version of the originally spotted set comes with 12 additional elements, covering four pairs of miniature Brick Clogs instead of just one.

Notably, an unboxing of the LEGO Brick Clogs from Crocs showcased that the packaging featured the red 40972 recruitment bag, while the description of 5010203 Brick Clog states that it comes with a LEGO minifigure with four pairs of their own Brick Clogs.

40972 only has seven pieces, which would be enough for one minifigure and one pair of miniature LEGO Brick Clogs. 40973 has 19 pieces, which would be enough for four pairs and a minifigure, suggesting that the green polybag will be included in the retail version of 5010203 Brick Clog.

This must mean that the Brick Clogs available for purchase include the green recruitment bag, leaving the question of what the red version is for.

It may be that the red box pictured on social media, featuring the 40972 recruitment bag, is made for influencers to promote the product, and it wouldn't be surprising to see the red set appear at events to further market the partnership. That's only speculation on our end as the mystery continues.

The only confirmed LEGO Crocs product so far is 5010203 Brick Clog, releasing on February 16 for £199.99 / $199.99 / €199.99. Note that the Crocs website still has the shoes listed for $149.99, and the press release states the same, but LEGO.com says otherwise.
