The success of LEGO Ideas 21349 Tuxedo Cat has inspired a recolour and redesign, begging the question of what's next after 21376 Orange Cat.
It's safe to say that LEGO Ideas 21349 Tuxedo Cat has been a major success for the LEGO Group. The sales figures and demand inspired the recoloured and redesigned
That's only speculation on our part, and it will be interesting to see whether 21376 Orange Cat is as popular as 21349 Tuxedo Cat, or whether two is too many for the community. For now, here are a few paths a third LEGO cat model could follow.
Another LEGO cat recolour

A third recolour of the base LEGO cat design is the easiest next step, and there are many more breeds and colours to cover. A white cat would contrast nicely with 21349 Tuxedo Cat, but blend in thanks to the shared white patch between it and 21376 Orange Cat.
FosterPupz has already devised a custom white version of 21349 Tuxedo Cat, demonstrating that such a redesign is possible. 21376 Orange Cat made some changes to the base 21349 Tuxedo Cat build, though, and a third set would be a chance to do so again. Future improvements can range from more movement in the tail and head to more volume in the fur.
A much bigger cat creation
A third LEGO cat model doesn't have to be quite as simple as recolouring 21349 Tuxedo Cat and keeping it at the same price point, though. An expanded budget would result in a larger cat model, such as a LEGO Maine Coon.
The breed sits much taller next to 21349 Tuxedo Cat than other breeds do, leaving the official model looking small in comparison. By making a larger LEGO cat, the LEGO Group would be more sufficiently covering all bases, and providing a second platform for fans to customise the build to look like their cats. Their voluminous fur would also be a chance to drastically redesign the look of the LEGO cat for a different silhouette, but still sitting in the same pose.
A much smaller cat creation
On the opposite end of the scale, after two £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99 LEGO cats, a brick-built feline around £59.99 / $69.99 / €69.99 might be a better next step than going bigger. Whether depicting a Munchkin or even a kitten, a more affordable alternative or companion to 21349 Tuxedo Cat and 21376 Orange Cat is a logical next step for this cat collection.
While
A LEGO cat tree

Beyond the cat itself, another path the LEGO Group could take with this cat collection is that of accessories. While toys and wearable accessories are one option, the likes of
To be anywhere near sufficient in size compared to 21349 Tuxedo Cat and 21376 Orange Cat, such a build would need to be massive and accordingly expensive. It's probably not the most realistic next option for the LEGO cat collection, and you're probably better off buying a real cat tree to display your LEGO felines.
